There can be many reasons which may drive you to open a sweet store in your neighborhood or even from your home. You would possibly want to open such a candy store because you love eating sweets yourself or maybe because you are great at making sweet treats. The great thing about opening a candy shop is that anyone can do it and there aren’t too many technical necessities particularly if you are planning to run the business through homemade candies.

Nonetheless, for any kind of business thought that you might have, it’s essential be clear about a number of technical details that will enable you to run your business smoothly. For instance, the budget that you will utilize for operating the business is one thing that you need to fix before anything else. There are a number of vital inclusions that it’s important to add to the budget even if you’re opening a sweet store.

You’ll have to include the costs for an accountant as well as for all the staff even if only a few that you’ll have to employ to run your candy store. In addition to this, you will also should keep in mind the supplies that you will want so that you can make the products for your sweet store as well as all the overhead costs for example rent and electricity etc.

Additionally, you will must get yourself in contact with distributors and representatives who will be able to provide you with all the required materials as well as other necessities that you will have to think of when you are running the business of a candy store in Malaysia. These contacts will come in very helpful as they do with any type of business. In reality there are several Candy Expos that are held all over the country from time to time. Keep a look out for these Expos so that you can attend them and build your contacts and also gain more information about different candies and storage devices and displays and all the other things which can be so important to run your own sweet store.

There are also many ways of making sure that the costs that you incur for operating your candy stores aren’t as much and so that you can keep them limited. For example, when you are just starting off with your candy shop, you can employ members of your immediate family so that the costs are a lot less for maintaining staff in your store.

In addition to this, you may even buy chocolate and other ingredients in bulk. That will also vastly cut back the costs of running your sweet shop.

The best location can even be a boost to your candy shop. It must be in a location easily accessible to your clients.

The video game is now a ubiquitous part of American pop culture but pinball still holds a cachet of cool. Pinball went through a few lean years during the early years of the video boom, when designers tried to cram as much stuff onto the playfield as possible, perhaps feeling the clutter was needed to replicate the video game experience. In recent years, however, designers appear to have concluded–and rightly so–that pinball cannot be a video game, nor should it want to be.

A great game of recent vintage is the 1997 Bally release \”Cirqus Voltaire\”. The theme is sort of a \’Cirque du Soleil\” on acid, and the iconography of the circus that they cram into the design and play of the game is amazing. The ultimate object of the game is to \”join the cirqus\”, which, of course, is a classical American archetype of freedom and escape.

The game play offers a lot of what we\’ve come to expect from Williams/Bally, with sweeping ramp shots, clever uses of time-worn features (like the disappearing pop bumper, reincarnated here as a balloon. This feature dates back to the 1950\’s and appeared on Williams \”Gusher\” among others), and multi-ball a-plenty. As is very common with pinball games today, the game\’s ultimate object is to work your way through a variety of \’modes\’. Sometimes this is a confusing endeavor, but here is very easy to understand–yet still very challenging to the player.

At its nadir, pinball companies were cranking out games featuring themes and subjects that offered little, if any, synergy with game play. \”Cirqus Voltaire\” may represent a high point of thematic unity between game subjects, aesthetic design and play experience. It offers an otherworldly interpretation on a circus, with subtext, nuance and detail.

The really great thing about the game is the multiple levels of contextual awareness it offers. A slack jawed yokel can play it and just think its a nice game about the circus. To a cleverer player, it alternately provides a celebration and condemnation of the circus and, deeper still, of the popular culture that spawns and embraces them.

For most of the 20th century it seemed that pinball was sort of the \’cockroach\’ of the amusement industry–just too tough and/or too adaptable to kill. It survived wars, economic downturn, moral outrage and most recently video games. Despite the changing cultural climate, it was still a shock when WMS Industries, the dominant player in the industry for the past decade and the maker of Williams and Bally machines, announced that it was getting out of the business several years ago. WMS wasn\’t in any sort of financial peril, but rather they wanted to focus on their more lucrative slot machine and video poker business.

Until the 1980\’s, pinball dominated the arcade. In the late 1970\’s and on the heels of the film adaptation of The Who\’s pinball themed rock opera \’Tommy\’ arcades featured row after row of new machines from over a half dozen US based manufacturers. Countless other machines were made worldwide. The first shot of the video game industry didn\’t make much of a dent–\’Pong\’ was revolutionary, but its gameplay was downright dull compared to pinball. It also required two players, another downside in the often solitary isolation of the arcade. The first real challenge to pinball was the second generation of video games, including \’Space Invaders\’ and \’Asteroids\’.

Pinball put up a good fight, and popular games continued to appear through the mid 1980\’s. Several pinball games were actually spinoffs of popular video games–\”Spy Hunter and Space Invaders and a number of not so good ones based on the Pac Man video games. For awhile, pinball and video games enjoyed an uneasy co-existence, much like Mac and Windows in the computer world.

It was the late 1980s\”when video games became more technologically advanced and began to offer superior play experiences\”that pinball lost its way. Depending on the manufacturer, they did it in different ways. Gottlieb and others made simple, traditional games that just couldnt compete with their video counterparts. Bally and other manufacturers went the opposite route\”by cramming so much onto a playfield that the game hardly resembled traditional pinball. Some of Ballys late 1980s games\”with so much playfield gimmickry going on\”were nearly unplayable. By this point the video game had taken over the arcade. Some larger arcades continued to offer a few pinball machines to placate hardcores, while some eliminated pinball altogether. In the 1970\’s most decent arcades would feature over a dozen machines, with large facilities having several dozen. By the mid 1980\’s, it was rare to see more than three or four pinball machines in one location.

As the eighties gave way to the 1990s, however, a funny thing happened. Pinball began to experience a bit of a comeback driven by well designed, enjoyable games that finally got the balance between traditional gameplay and modern technology right. Williams and Bally (whom WMS later acquired), along with Data East, were making the majority of new games and some would become classics. Pin-Bot, Earthshaker The Adams Family and Diner are among my favorites of this era. Williams was at the forefront of the return to excellent design and gameplay, and its hard to think of a Williams game from this period that wasnt a fun game to play, if not a borderline classic. Articles started to appear in the traditional media about the durability and timelessness of pinball, about how the average pinball machine received much more repeat business than the average video game and about the devotion of the pinball player.

With the century drawing to a close, it seemed that the Williams/Bally outfit had found a niche and would be able to grind out pinball machines for the aficionados forever. The final nail in the coffin, however, was a lot of societal changes beyond their control. For one, video games and video arcades became less profitable as companies like Sony and Nintendo were able to transform a lot of the high end gameplay to the home platform. Meanwhile, trends like new urbanism, which saw a return to downtown storefronts and the growth of online shopping combined to hurt traditional shopping malls. Eventually the WMS corporate braintrust decided to pull the plug on pinball and concentrate on their highly profitable gambling machine business. From a business standpoint, it probably made sense but that didnt make it any easier for lifelong pinball enthusiasts to reconcile with.

So what now? Stern Pinball\”recently spun off by Sega\”is still committed to building new games, but their track record is spotty and certainly not in the league with Williams/Bally. Theyll have a harder time marketing the games, and as a result theyre not a company that will be able to bring the industry roaring back. At this point, it appears that the only hope for pinball players is that some effort will be made to preserve the machines that already exist. With the capital investment required for a new company to get into the business, its hard to envision any new manufacturers popping up.

You have to be definitely kidding if you are wondering about this particular query. The Christian Louboutin brand name is a product that\’s directly on top and has always been so since its inception way back in the 1990\’s. Each of their shoes or boots are typically the type that gals die for, simply to be able to manage to get thier feet into these kinds of footwear and wear them to the most unique of events.

You\’ll never go wrong if you choose to give a Christian Louboutin Replica set of shoes for the woman in your life. They\’re best to be presented for just about any female in your life: your spouse, lover, daughter, mom, sister or any other you could think about. The person will love exactly how these heels make them feel like they are well worth millions of dollars. Plus, your lady will definitely love your perfect sense and awareness that made you purchase these footwear for her in the first place. After the rest of the presents already are forgotten about, re-gifted and dumped away in the closet, this is 1 gift that will stay on the receiver\’s heart and feet for a very long time.

The heels that come from this organisation have the best of everything any girl might ever dream of. The type of design that goes to these kinds of heels is wonderful. They permit the woman to feel the very same high quality and luxury of all that\’s there on the authentic pair of these designer shoes.

Once you choose these types of pairs, you\’ve got shoes or boots which are worth each and every dime which you\’ve invested upon these footwear. They\’ll still look attractive and last you a long time. With these types of shoes you are not going to face any worry of not having the ability to fit in with the crowd. You\’ll often be in and be able to gel and mix with the most amazing level of ease. Just what could make these types of footwear oh so very special are lots of things. Nevertheless, the primary one is the materials that is used to put these footwear together.

Are you making travel plans now or in the near future? If so, there are a lot of decisions you have to make, and a lot of things you have to plan for. Once you\’ve selected your destination you\’re probably already thinking about all the things you\’ll be doing each day on your trip. But you also have to think about where you\’ll be sleeping a night. That is, what hotel you\’ll be staying at.

As you plan your trip, wherever you may be going, you are unlikely to find any shortage of hotels that you can check into. There are various things you need to think about before booking a room, however. One of your tasks ought to be how you can save good money by finding a deal deal in a less expensive hotel. This is an area you can save a lot of money, and that will make your traveling much happier.

As you budget your trip, you will notice that hotel expenses are one of the biggies. You\’ll also notice that there is a wide range of prices for various hotels. This is an area you can save serious money! But some people book themselves in a more expensive hotel because they are afraid of cheap hotels. They probably think all the cheap hotels have bed bugs or dirty sheets or something. But these days there are lots of very nice, perfectly good discount hotels where you will be quite happy.

Traveling and vacations are quite expensive in general. You\’ll be pulling out your wallet all day long. If your whole family\’s going along, you are going to have no choice but to spend a lot of money to ensure everyone has a grand old time and you all can look back fondly at all of these memories. You will probably also want to do some shopping, and purshasing gifts for yourself, your family, and your friends back home. You will likely have to dine at restaurants for each meal. These are just example; you get the idea. These are necessary expenses on a trip. In contrast, an expensive hotel with all the bells and whistles and extra services is not a neccesary expense to ensure a successful and happy trip. So, a cheap hotel is the smart move.

You really need to keep this in mind, that all day long you will be spending money as you travel. Almost everything you do will cost something. All of this shopping, eating, amusements, and so on. If you save money on your hotel accomodations, that will leave you more money in your budget for all the things you are taking the trip for in the first place!

When all is said and done, what is this trip really all about? It\’s about all the enjoyment you\’ll be having outside of the hotel room! You\’re not going to all this trouble and expense to travel somewhere to sit in a hotel room that has all the extras you don\’t need and really won\’t have mch use for. Saving money by booking a room at a discount hotel can even allow you to take a longer trip with more days chock full of fun for the whole family.

I can find you very cheap hotel rooms, just simply stop by and search my database of 100,000 hotel properties in 4,000 countries for the best price guaranteed.

Mitsuharu Misawa died in Hiroshima, Japan earlier this year less than a week before his 47th birthday. Akitoshi Saito hit a back suplex on Misawa, which appeared to knock him unconscious. Medical staff attempted to revive him in the ring, but when CPR failed he was taken to a hospital by ambulance. Initial reports in the Japanese media suggest that he was pronounced dead at the hospital, but a number of eyewitness accounts have speculated that he may have died in the ring.

There’s at least a small bit of solace in the fact that he died in the ring doing what he loved, and what he did better than just about anyone on the planet. Misawa’s last moments were spent working the kind of brutally stiff, athletically realistic match that got a generation hooked on Japanese wrestling.

A top level amateur wrestler in high school, his skill gained the attention of All Japan Pro Wrestling president Shohei Giant Baba. He made his professional debut in’81, and got his first big break in’84 when he was chosen as the second Tiger Mask replacing Satoru Sayama. In’90, he had his longtime tag team partner (and occasional rival) Toshiaki Kawada unmask him.

Misawa would wrestle as himself from then on, and become an even bigger star in the process. In June,’90 he became one of the top stars in All Japan Pro Wrestling when he defeated Jumbo Tsuruta. That match was his first main event appearance at the venue Cheap Trick made famous in America, the Nippon Budokan. He soon faced Triple Crown Champion Stan Hansen in an unsuccessful challenge for the title, and would become arguably the biggest native star in Japanese pro wrestling for the next decade.

Hed have legendary battles against Kawada, Hansen, Kenta Kobashi, Jun Akiyama and Steve Dr. Death Williams in singles competition. Hed also become a force on the tag team scene along with Kawada facing Williams and Terry Gordy along with Tsuruta and Akira Taue. Misawa would continue as a mainstay in AJPW until the early part of this decade. After the death of Giant Baba, he left to establish Pro Wrestling NOAH. He would serve as the companys president while wrestling a full time schedule until his death.

Japanese pro wrestling served as a gateway drug for many into shoot fight sports and MMA. Before the Internet, fans would trade videotapes to stay up on the latest matches from Japan and along with Jushin Thunder Liger and The Great Muta Keiji Mutoh it safe to say that Misawa is one of the wrestlers most responsible for getting a generation of American fans hooked on the product. For American fans at the time”and with the WWE at its creative low point”the All Japan and New Japan Pro Wrestling product was nothing short of a revelation.

It may be a bit of a stretch to call Satoshi Ishii the Michael Phelps of Japan, but not by much. His victory in the heavyweight judo competition at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing was easily the defining moment of the games for his countrymen and was considered by most media outlets the #1 highlight of the year in all of sports. Though Japan does well at the Olympics for a country of its size and has won gold medals in a number of sports, its important to keep in mind that until the late\’70s judo was the countrys most popular sport. While its popularity in the intervening decades has been supplanted by imported team sports like soccer and baseball, judo still holds especially high prestige among the Japanese sports fans and general public.

Ishii himself is also a marketing dream. Hes especially big by Japanese standards with 240 pounds packed on his bulky 511 frame. Not surprisingly, hes tough as nails and a terror on the mat but away from the gym he comes off like an awkwardly cheerful overgrown boy. He definitely seems younger than his 22 years, but gives off the vibe of a nice neighbor boy who youd gladly pay to mow your lawn. Unlike his telegenic American gold medalist counterpart Phelps, who acts as if he spent as much time working on media relations as his backstroke heading up to the Olympic games, Ishii\’s demeanor is of an athlete who literally spent the bulk of his life in a gym only to emerge and find himself a national hero and superstar. He alternately seems to be having the time of his life at the vortex of a media frenzy as he is somewhat overwhelmed by the attention.

With the ability to offer him the most money and exposure, it seemed almost a fait accompli that Ishii would sign with DREAM and K-1 parent group FEG. Obviously its a good idea to keep your options open in negotiations, so he also reportedly talked to Sengoku parent World Victory Road and Antonio Inoki\’s Inoki Genome Federation pro wrestling group. As expected, however, FEG reportedly presented Ishii with the most lucrative offer: 500 million yen (roughly $5.5 million US) to fight on DREAM and K-1 cards, with incentive bonuses based on his drawing power and performance. He would very likely become the highest paid mixed martial artist in the world before he\’d even stepped into the ring for the first time. The tentative plan was for Ishii to appear on the year end K-1/DREAM Fields Dynamite! joint show, if not fighting at least in a heavily hyped opportunity for FEG to unveil their investment.

Ishii then shocked the Japanese fight sport world by categorically rejecting FEGs offer, saying that it was his lifelong dream to fight in the UFC. While this rationale might sound plausible to a US based fan, its akin to a top college baseball player from a SEC school turning down a big offer from the Atlanta Braves saying that its his lifelong dream to play for the Yomiuri Giants in Japan Central League. It frequently comes a shock to US MMA fans when immersed in Japans culture for the first time just how low the UFC ranks in the countrys fight sport pantheon. In MMA, their profile is lower than DREAM and Sengoku, but even smaller groups like Shooto and DEEP. Overall, the interest in and prestige of the UFC is well below not only boxing but even Japanese pro wrestling (puroresu).

Ishii then travelled to Las Vegas for UFC 92, with the Japanese media in tow covering his every move. Upon his return to Japan, he appeared at the Sengoku card in January addressing the audience from the ring and wearing his ubiquitous UFC shirt; his message was that he was going to fight in America for awhile but would eventually return to Japan.

At age 22, Ishii\’s got plenty of time to develop as a fighter. His biggest downside risk from signing with Zuffa is financial since hed be lucky to get a fraction of what FEG is willing to pay him. The competitive logic of learning his craft slowly notwithstanding, theres a huge risk in automatically assuming that he can fight for the UFC for a few years and then cash a big check when he returns to Japan as the potential of injury and changing market conditions could seriously impact his market value. On the other hand, it could be a risk hes willing to take given that hes got his celebrity both with the mainstream public and in the judo community to fall back on. Still, its a logical assumption that the goal of all professional fighters is to maximize their income while facing the best competition possible. For Ishii, a move to the UFC defies both components of that axiom.

Theres another very realistic scenario that it was all a negotiating ploy by Ishii. The UFC was likely willing to play along, figuring that their investment of a few plane tickets and hotel suites would be worth the resulting PR surge in Japan. Ishii and the UFC develop a cordial relationship which could be to the benefit of both parties down the road and both sides realized that a long term commitment wasn\’t the right move at this point.

With the recent revelation that Ishii has broken off UFC negotiations to entertain offers from other parties thats starting to look like the plausible explanation for the once hot and heavy courtship between Ishii and Zuffa.

As a postscript to the Ishiis relationship with the UFC, it apparently opened the doors for his move to the US where hell be training with the American Top Team in Florida. That alone is a positive for his future development as a fighter, as hell be training with a whos who of professional fighting.

South America will host the Summer Olympic Games for the first time in 2016, as Rio De Janeiro, Brazil was awarded the honor on Friday. Rio beat out the US choice of Chicago, Illinois along with Tokyo, Japan and Madrid, Spain to earn the right to host the games. Despite a high pressure effort from the American power elite–including President Barack Obama and TV gabfest queen Oprah Winfrey–Chicago was the first city eliminated from contention. Tokyo was the next to go, before Rio got the nod over Madrid in the final round of balloting.

Bookmakers offered odds on the host city choice, with Rio listed as second favorite at +200. Chicago had been the wagering favorite at most books, particularly after President Obama got involved personally in the US bid effort. Chicago was bet as high as a -300 favorite, while Madrid and Tokyo were priced in the +250 range. Some suggest that Tokyo didnt deserve to have such short odds, but was the beneficiary of regional pride from the notoriously enthusiastic betting population of Japan.

Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, President of Brazil, got the better of his US counterpart Barack Obama The Brazilian leader stressed the unfairness that South America had never hosted the games in his speech to the committee;

“It is a time to address this imbalance. It is time to light the Olympic cauldron in a tropical country.”

The Olympic committee was apparently swayed by this presentation and paid no mind to Rios many downsides. It is without a doubt the most dangerous of the finalist cities, where drug cartels and armed bands of thugs roam without impunity. Well do to Rio citizens are used to removing watches and jewelry before they drive anywhere lest they be targeted by carjacking brigands. Rios murder rate is also one of the highest in the world. Brazilian bid officials have stressed that security will be a priority at the games and it better be lest the Olympics turn into a bloodbath.

Some IOC members suggested that the summary dismissal of Chicagos bid was more of a rebuke of the notoriously corrupt USOC. The last two Olympics held in the US were tainted by crime and corruption. The’96 Atlanta Olympics were disrupted by a terrorist bombing, while the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Games were marred by a well known bribery and corruption scandal.

In the \’real world\’ time heals all wounds. In the fight game, money has the same curative effect. This was vividly illustrated with the recent announcement that Tito Ortiz has patched things up with Dana White and will return to the UFC. Tito left the promotion over a year ago after a highly publicized split with the UFC president.

Ortiz has had several run ins with the UFC over their notoriously tight pay structure, and first left the promotion in 2005. He was back later that year for a run as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter against longtime rival Ken Shamrock. After losing to current light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida in his last UFC appearance, he left the company and bounced around in a promotional capacity. He had surgery on his back in the process, and now claims that hes back to 100%.

Tito may never regain his championship form as a fighter, but that is of minimal relevance due to one salient fact\”people will pay to see him fight. Dana White evoked the same theme in his comments on Ortiz at a Friday press conference in Las Vegas:

\”Tito and I have a history that everyone knows. He\’s still a guy that everyone wants to see fight. He said his back has healed perfectly and he\’s ready to take a shot at the title. He\’s one of those guys that people love and people love to hate. We\’ve put all our differences aside, have squashed everything and will move forward, and Tito will retire in the UFC.\”

In response, Ortiz quipped:

\”Time really cures everything. Dana was a man of his word. Dana apologized to me. We\’re like boyfriend and girlfriend.\”

Ortiz said that Dana White and UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta came to his home in Huntington Beach, California and made him the proverbial offer he couldnt refuse:

\”I\’m happy, I\’m satisfied, You\’ll never hear anything about money again.

Sources suggest that Ortiz could debut on the UFCs New Years card against Mark Coleman. Coleman is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Stephan Bonnar at UFC 100 in mid July.

To best understand Titos appeal and why the UFC was so anxious to re-sign him, well paraphrase HBO boxing commentator Larry Merchant. As he previewed the George Foreman/Michael Moorer heavyweight championship bout he addressed criticism that Foreman didnt deserve the bout based on his recent form. Merchant noted that there are many fighters, but very few stars. Like George Foreman, Tito Ortiz is a star. Some love him, some hate him but people pay to watch him fight.

Fedor Emelianenko will make his debut for the Strikeforce MMA promotion this fall, facing undefeated prospect Brett Grim Rogers. Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker made the announcement at a Showtime promoted Fedor open workout in New York City. The promotion has yet to announce a date or a venue.

Fedor is considered by most experts to be the best heavyweight MMA fighter in the world, if not the best of all time. He snubbed the UFC following Afflictions exit from the MMA promotion business, choosing to sign with the up-and-coming Strikeforce promotion. Strikeforce agreed to co-promote with M1 Global, a Russian based promotion company owned by Fedor\’s manager Vadim Finkelchtein and to allow the fighter a non-exclusive deal that would enable him to compete in Japan and Eastern Europe.

After signing with Strikeforce, Fedor was typically low key:

I am looking forward to going back to work and fighting at the highest level. STRIKEFORCE is a top fight promotion that houses some of the greatest fighters in the world. I am prepared to fight any of them.

Emelianenkos manager, Vadim Finkelchtein noted:

I am very happy and excited about the upcoming collaboration with Strikeforce. We are very pleased that we found a reliable partner and I feel that Strikeforce and M-1 can support each other on many things. This will create big opportunities for both parties to test their fighters against worthy opponents.

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker shared his excitement:

We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to work with M-1 Global and Fedor. Fedor has been the reigning king of MMAs heavyweight division for quite some time now so being able to work with M-1 and Fedor will substantially increase the level of competition amongst the athletes in this weight class.

Fedor will put his 26 fight winning streak on the line against Brett Grim Rogers, who himself will enter the fray with an unblemished 10-0 record. The Minnesota native was originally being groomed by Elite XC as an opponent for street fighting phenom Kimbo Slice. After the demise of that promotion, Kimbo ended up on the UFC reality show The Ultimate Fighter while Rogers went to Strikeforce.

Considering that Emelianenko was a -500 choice at many books in the ill fated Affliction matchup against Josh Barnett(ranked the #2 heavyweight in the world at the time), he could be a -750 chalk or higher against the tough but inexperienced Rogers.
